An egg for breakfast can make you feel fuller for longer, at only 80 calories an egg can be eaten, poached, boiled or scrabbled and they are full of iron and vitamins. Research in the US suggests that women who ate eggs for breakfast consumed 400 less calories than days when they didn't have an egg for breakfast.

Vegetables such as broccoli, cauliflower, brussels sprouts, kale, and cabbage contain specific and unique phytonutrients that help to fight against  estrogenic compounds.  These estrogenic chemicals stimulate fat, eating plenty of these vegetables can help you in the battle against storing fat.

Researchers are currently investigating how antioxidant-rich blueberries may change how the body stores and processes glucose (or sugar) for energy, thereby reducing the risk of both heart disease and diabetes. Research on rats found that a diet of blueberries reduced the amount of fat stored by the rats. Blueberries contain natural chemicals such as anthocyanins, it is thought that these naturally occuring chemicals can give us significant health benefits.
