Okay, so DIY was perhaps a slight exaggeration. But there is a way to create an individual perfume - and its guaranteed to smell gorgeous. The perfume brand is Jo Malone - you might have seen one of her stores in some of the larger cities around the UK - but she’s relatively new on the scene. That does not mean, however, that she lacks skill. This woman (and, presumably, a dedicated team of equally brilliant perfume-mixing experts) has created a range of scents that can be worn alone or combined with other scents to create something entirely unique. You can either create scents entirely from scratch or choose two pre-mixed scent ‘combinations’ to wear one over the other. It’s entirely up to you!
Of course, individual perfumes don’t come cheap - £30 per 30ml bottle isn’t exactly a bargain - but if you’re looking for something a little different or extra special, Jo Malone is the woman of choice. Her citrus-y scents will keep you energised, and her sweeter cacao option guarantees you’ll smell of chocolate all day.
She also produces a range of complementary lotions, linen scents, and moisturisers to make sure you smell delicious all over. So even if you don’t buy, its definitely worth checking out. After all, a girl can dream.
